What is JunOS Olive?
JunOS Olive is a software that you can use on PC. Initially Olive was used by Juniper internally for lab work, but now it become a source to learn the JUNOS CLI on a low-cost platform. Please note Junos olive is only for study and practice purposes , which is unsupported and unsupportable platform & it is not suitable for any type of commercial use.

    1. Hello, this is impossible because you run JunOs over a virtual machine, and you add this virtual machine on GNS3, however, you can use ethernet interfaces (maximum 4 , as virtual box can emulate)

  11. please help, i have been facing some problem in junos IOS, i am using 2 interface connected with 2 router but only 1 interface(em0) is working and able to ping connected router. other interface(em1) is not working and unable to ping directly connected router.

  12. Please help I am not even able to start my VM as it always is stuck at the screen where it asks me to change network settings. No matter which network card or what network type I select, it fails to start my VM.

  14. Awesome I already begin with this to study Juniper as well to get my two certs. To go beyond the limitation of Juniper Olive go to google and get a copy of Juniper vsrx. This is the real deal. Got 60 days to work with it and making part of the gns3 enviroment.

  20. I downloaded this image and was able to load it in VMware server however in VirtualBox the image does not load and stack in "BTX loader 1.0 BTX version is 1.0.2 "
    Im using VirtualBox version 6.0.10 , Im not using it in a GNS environment.
    appreciate if someone can share light on this .

  21. After importing on Virtual box once i start it, I am getting error ==> BTX Loader 1.00 and Btx version is 1.02 and after that not moving forward.
